A short note
Privacy
If you join the waitlist, we store the email you typed, the date you sent it, and that it came from this site. That's all. We keep the address until the iPhone app is out, or until you ask us to remove it.
If you make an account, we keep the email from Sign in with Apple, Google, or a magic link. We also keep your saves (the URLs you send), your letters (the digests and summaries), and your delivery settings: timezone, send hour, and whether the letter is on.
Article text and video captions are fetched only to write the letter. They are never shown in the app. Old extracts are discarded.
A few services do this work for us. Supabase stores your account and saves. Anthropic (Claude) and Google (Gemini) read the article text or video to write your summaries. They get the content, not your email or account. Resend delivers the letter to your inbox. Apple and Google handle sign-in if you use them.
The iPhone app may send crash data to Sentry, so we can see what broke.
The app also records a few usage events in our own database, like finishing setup or opening a link from your letter, so we can see what's working. They aren't shared with anyone.
We don't sell your data. We don't run ads. We don't track you across other apps.
To delete your account, open the iPhone app and go to Settings, then Delete account. That removes the account, the saves, and the letters.
